  • Kristin Griffeth

Kristin Griffeth, Club Pilates Certified Instructor

Kristin joined the Club Pilates Eagle team as an Apprentice following Club Pilates’ rigorous 500-hour comprehensive Teacher Training Program. After the birth of her 3rd child, Kristin was experiencing daily back and leg pain due to herniated discs in her lumbar spine. Through lots of hard work and exercise, Kristin found the relief and strength she needed to take care of her family and get back to the activities she enjoys. She currently uses Pilates and exercise to help maintain her spinal health. Her new passion and appreciation for exercise ultimately led Kristin to pursue Pilates as a career and she now teaches weekly at our studio, helping others find that same love for exercise once again. When she is not at the studio, she enjoys spending time exploring Idaho with her husband and 5 kids as well as dabbling in photography and refinishing furniture.

  • Melanie Gentry

    Pilates Sports Center Certified Instructor

Pilates became my passion in 2011 as a supplement to my fitness and tennis regimen. I’ve coached tennis at the high school level in Ashwaubenon, WI (GO PACK GO!) and have taught junior tennis for the City of Scottsdale and Fountain Hills Park and Rec programs. Pilates has aided me in the rehabilitation of my torn Rotator Cuff and Elbow Tendinitis granting continued mobility and strength in my core and upper body. I'm also a golfer, so I incorporate Pilates breathing, stretching and core work into my training. I may not be able to reduce your handicap, but through Pilates exercises you'll experience increased rotation, improved balance, breathing and greater core and hip flexibility adding distance to your irons and Driver. I completed my Pilates Sports Center Training Program in 2012 and am a member of the Pilates Method Alliance. I currently teach on Balanced Body Equipment; Reformer, Tower, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Mat exercises using a variety of props. I believe in modification to gain the core understanding of Pilates and adding variations to an exercise when the student is ready for a challenge! Speaking of a challenge, I also teach TRX and Barre.

  • Linda Klena

    Integrated Balance Certified Instructor

My degree is in Exercise Science and I have been a personal trainer for 25 years. My pilates journey did not start until I decided to compete in a Natural Bodybuilding competition, where I won my weight classes 2 years in a row. The process of bodybuilding is its strength focus. The emphasis on the aesthetics of muscle development, balance and symmetry, needed another training method to complement the goal of a fully developed physique. That is when I turned to the Pilates method. After using the method to train for 2 years, I knew I need to pursue it further. I obtained full apparatus training through Integrated Balance, which fused a contemporary approach with the classical background to encompass the pilates method. I attend numerous seminars and workshops yearly to keep my technique sharp and my skills abundant.I enjoy teaching the pilates method, where the work never gets easier; it just gets more intense! Of course that is only accomplished by doing the method correctly! I am also certified in TRX, Spin and trained in Yoga and Barre. I have been married for 32 years and have raised two wonderful sons. Being empty nesters, my husband and I, now devote our time to our 2 Great Danes and have just recently moved to Eagle after being residents of SE Boise for 32 years.

  • Shayna Mohler

    Club Pilates Certified Instructor

Shayna has been a student of Pilates since the age of thirteen and is trained in a variety of styles from classical Pilates to The Lagree Method. After training under Body Arts and Science (BASI) in California, Shayna relocated to Idaho and recently completed Club Pilate’s 500-hour comprehensive training program to certify in Reformer, Exo Chair, Mat, Barre, TRX and Trigger Point.

  • Tiana Kisler

    Club Pilates Certified Instructor

Tiana is a new member of our Club Pilates Eagle team and will be subbing as needed. She was trained through the Club Pilates Teacher Training Program and has been teaching in San Diego, CA, where she was born and raised. Tiana was drawn to Pilates because she believes it is truly for everyBODY! Her goal is for every class to be fun and safe while creating mindful movements that help you feel lengthened and strengthened. Although Tiana is new to Idaho, her husband is a native Idahoan born in Twin Falls. In her free time she and her family enjoy exploring all there is to do in her new state! She enjoys going to church as well as all the wonderful Idaho outdoor activities like camping, snowboarding, biking, hiking and sledding. Whether it’s training, teaching or taking a class, Tiana says that Pilates is truly her "happy hour place!"

  • Lisa McCuistion

Balanced Body Mat Certified, CP Apprentice

Lisa is a new member of our Club Pilates Eagle teaching team as an apprentice. Lisa is a Balanced Body Certified Mat Instructor who has been teaching Pilates mat classes locally for three years. She is currently completing her Balanced Body Comprehensive Certification and is a member of Pilates Method Aliance. She has taken her passion for Pilates to churches, ballet and Pilates studios sharing her love of the Pilates method. Pilates became a passion for Lisa about fifteen years ago as she was struggling through multiple chronic health challenges as well as painful, structural imbalances. She discovered that the Pilates principles and methods greatly improved her overall quality of life and gave her the gift of enjoyable, fluid movement. Desiring to share this gift with others she decided to pursue certification. Lisa now adds Pilates training to her Bachelors of Science in Education Degree and her years of teaching experience. She considers herself blessed to be able to combine her passion for teaching and her passion for Pilates as she moves forward into her “empty nest” years after raising two wonderful sons. Her sons are now grown, with Shawn living close enough to visit with a short road trip (yeah!) and Patrick and daughter-in-law Becca who live here in the Treasure Valley (yeah!) Lisa lives in Eagle with her favorite Pilates student and husband Michael and her not so cuddly cat Oscar who tries to figure out what this Pilates thing is all about when she is practicing in her studio at home.
